Vincent Piront completes roofing of the new Total Energies station in Howald, Luxembourg
S.A. Vincent Piront recently completed the roofing works for the new Total Energies service station in Howald, Luxembourg. This project, covering a total surface area of 1,200 m², was carried out in collaboration with Milestone and Socipar SA, as part of a new construction involving demanding technical solutions and multi-stakeholder coordination.
Bituminous waterproofing on concrete canopy
The concrete-structured canopy, covering the fuel pump area, was treated with a double-layer waterproofing system. Two fully torch-bonded bituminous membranes from Soprema provide optimal protection against weather conditions. Round skylights were integrated into the roof to allow natural zenithal lighting, improving both comfort and visibility in the sheltered area.
High-performance insulation and synthetic waterproofing on the office roof
The administrative section features a high-efficiency roofing system, including:
200 mm PIR insulation, ensuring excellent thermal performance (see our insulation solutions);
A mechanically fixed Evalon (Alwitra) synthetic waterproofing membrane, known for its durability and suitability for commercial buildings.
Proven expertise in complex roofing projects
This project demonstrates S.A. Vincent Piront’s ability to work on mixed-use construction sites, combining commercial roofs, office spaces, and service infrastructures. With cutting-edge materials and efficient coordination, this new roof guarantees long-term insulation, waterproofing, and functionality.
