Vincent Piront renovates the industrial roof of Valeo Vision SA in Ath for large-scale photovoltaic integration

As part of the installation of a large-scale photovoltaic system, S.A. Vincent Piront carried out the complete renovation of the industrial roof at the Valeo Vision SA site in Ath, covering a total surface area of 16,000 m².

Durable waterproofing ready for photovoltaics
The old bituminous membrane was replaced with a Sika 15G synthetic membrane, providing reliable and long-lasting waterproofing across the entire building.

To ensure full compatibility with the future solar installation, 7,000 meters of support profiles were welded directly onto the membrane. This system offers:

• robust and uniform mounting of photovoltaic panels,

• full preservation of the waterproofing with no penetration of the roof layers,

• a long-term solution perfectly suited to the energy demands of industrial buildings.
