Hubo entrusts Vincent Piront with the energy-efficient renovation of its commercial roof in Leuze-en-Hainaut

As part of improving the energy performance of its retail outlets, the Hubo store located in Leuze-en-Hainaut entrusted S.A. Vincent Piront with the complete renovation of the roof of its commercial building. The project, carried out in partnership with Ascencio, covered a total surface area of 2,200 m².

Thermal upgrade on an existing roof
The existing roofing system was composed of a steel deck, covered with 80 mm EPS insulation and an aging PVC membrane. Our teams retained the base structure and enhanced its performance through:

• Installation of 120 mm interlocking PIR insulation, ensuring improved thermal resistance (see our roofing insulation solutions);

• Installation of a synthetic Sika 18G waterproofing membrane, selected for its robustness and longevity on large commercial roofs.

Energy performance and long-lasting waterproofing
This project aimed to optimize the building's energy efficiency, reduce thermal losses, and strengthen the durability of the waterproofing system. Thanks to this industrial roofing renovation carried out in Wallonia, the Hubo store now benefits from a reliable technical roof that meets the client’s expectations.
