Project description : AEROPORT CHARLES DE GAULE

Terminal S4
Unlike the most of the sound proofing works we carry out, in this case, the client’s requirement was to limit noise pollution coming from the exterior. Aéroports de Paris wanted to achieve very low levels of aircraft noise inside the terminal. We proposed a technical solution which was validated by the acoustics engineering department of the University of Liège (CEDIA – Cellule d’Études et de Développement en Ingénierie Acoustique). This expertise enabled us to respond to the reduction requirements. We then covered the acoustic and thermal insulation with a PVC membrane.

Material

Steel roof decking + acoustic and thermal insulation + waterproof membrane
