Vincent Piront undertakes large-scale industrial roofing renovation in Temse for NSG Pilkington
S.A. Vincent Piront is currently working on a major construction site in Temse, in collaboration with SDI SICAF-FIIS SA (part of the SDI Real Estate Group), on behalf of NSG Pilkington Automotives Belgium NV.
This industrial roof renovation project, covering a total surface area of 6,850 m², is part of an energy transition initiative in preparation for the installation of photovoltaic panels.
High-performance waterproofing and solar readiness
The original PVC membrane has been retained as a base layer. On top of it, our teams are currently applying a Sika 18G synthetic waterproofing membrane, known for its mechanical strength and long lifespan, particularly on technical roofs exposed to harsh conditions.
This long-lasting waterproofing solution ensures a perfectly sealed roof — a prerequisite for any photovoltaic installation.
Thermal upgrade of the office zone
The administrative area, covering 200 m², is also receiving targeted work. A 100 mm PIR insulation layer was installed prior to the new membrane application, significantly improving the thermal efficiency of the office space (see our PIR roof insulation solutions).
A highly technical project
This site showcases our expertise in the renovation of industrial buildings, especially in projects anticipating the integration of solar systems and requiring a high level of technical coordination.
