Project description : Hôtel Van Der Valk

The Franki/ Blaton consortium commissioned us to handle the entirety of the roof covering and cladding works for this new hotel, owned by the Van Der Valk Group.

This complicated project was subject to a tight deadline. In carrying out these works, we took advantage of the efficiencies offered by our activity on another project – Mons station – situated a mere 50m away from the hotel. As the same bituminous waterproofing material was being installed, the resulting synergy allowed us to assign the same teams to complete both sets of works. This opportunity for project-management efficiency enabled easy and rapid progress on the waterproofing works, which were completed in several phases.

Materials

Valli Zabban double-layer bitumen.
The cladding, using ARCELOR PIR sandwich panels, was installed in collaboration with our long-standing subcontractors. The aesthetic and technical demands of the architect required us to carry out an in-depth study on the finishing details.
