Vincent Piront renovates the roof of Grit Studios SA in Etterbeek (2,200 m²)

We are currently renovating the roof of the Grit Studios SA building in Etterbeek, covering a surface area of 2,200 m².

A technical roof with dual performance
The old roof, consisting of 50 mm insulation panels, has been upgraded to deliver improved performance — not only thermal, but especially acoustic.
The client chose an innovative solution combining:

• enhanced thermal insulation,

• high-performance acoustic insulation with Phonotech panels, designed to reduce interior noise emissions.

Reliable and long-lasting waterproofing
The new waterproofing is provided by a Sika 15G synthetic membrane, perfectly suited to the constraints of this urban site.

This roofing system ensures durability, performance, and compliance with acoustic emission standards, while also helping reduce the building's energy footprint.
